I have been teaching French for more than thirty years in secondary schools, and having recently retired, I am now able to offer private lessons at any time.

All ages can be accommodated, from primary school to adults.
I teach at all levels; academic study for French degrees, AS Level, A' Level and GCSE.
I will provide help with conversation, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills.

For adults I can help if you just want to brush up on your French skills before a holiday or work with complete beginners wanting to learn about the wonderful French language and culture!

In my teaching, I use DVD materials, music, audio clips etc. together with more 'traditional' methods to enhance the learning process.

My fees are: £20 per 1 hour lesson.

I am available for lessons in the Derby / Nottingham area.
I can travel to you if you are unable to come to me, but there will be an additional charge for this, depending on the journey time.
